There have been sixty thousand, four hundred and twenty-seven reference books for different subjects and research books and fifty-five thousand, one hundred and sixty nine journals and magazines in the library of Pathein University. The library is open from 9:30 A.M to 4:00 PM. Up till now; from sixty to eighty students borrow the books from the library every day.
Students and teachers can read daily newspapers such as “The Global New Light of Myanmar, The Mirror and The Myawaddy, 14 kinds of magazines and 6 kinds of journals at the library. There has been arranged for 40 students to be able to read at the library. All kinds of reference books such as PhD thesis, research papers, Master thesis, and university’s journals are systematically arranged. Internet access is also available and we are trying to collaborate with etekkatho-Manchester, UK.
